Upgraded and Comments Fixed
For months now I’ve been wondering why people are not responding to posts that (to me) seem like they could be considered quite provocative–at least enough to provoke a response…some commentary…a quip even.
Then a friend of mine who tried to leave a comment clued me in…
NO ONE COULD LEAVE A COMMENT!
It was bugged. I have fixed it (I think) and have also upgraded to the latest version of WordPress (the blog tool I use for this site).
If you find yourself unable to leave a comment OMG! please send me an email.

Hardly a day goes by when I don’t see something that strikes me as funny, weird, interesting, amazing, stupid, or just plain screwed up. When it happens, I write about it. I share my Idle Musings of the Active Mind with others.
Some of you may find my musings thought-provoking and interesting to read. Undoubtedly, others will not. Some people will agree with me, others will not. Some will respond and post a comment, while others will not. That’s okay. I don’t claim to be the sharpest tool in the shed, but I am in there. I’m participating at a grass roots level with the hopes that others will be encouraged by my musings and will think critically about the topics discussed on this site. Even if you don’t post a response, I hope that you will become motivated to think more deeply about the topics discussed here.
I encourage you to stand up and speak out about whatever is on your minds. Post your comments, create your own posts, and join the grass roots movement to discuss topics and invite others to join in. All I ask is that your posts and comments do not promote or support hate-speak. There is no room on this site for racial hatred, content of a sexually explicit nature or any other material that would violate a reasonable person’s sense of appropriateness.
Posts here can be passionate and rantish, but critical thinkers and intellectuals do not enjoy reading inane vulgarity. So don’t post it. Got an opinion? Share it. Got a rant? Get on it. Want to lash out with racial hatred, ethnic slurs, religious denegration, or any other hate-speak-oriented content? Go somewhere else.
Posting here is not a right, it is a privilege. Any post that is deemed inappropriate will be removed and the poster may be banned from the site. As Site Admin, I hold exclusive authority to decide what is appropriate and what is not. While I am a strong proponent of free speech and thought, I cannot abide racial, religious, ethnic, or other forms of ignorance and intolerance.
If you don’t like these terms, don’t post here.
